Questions we get every week
All Egypt itineraries except North Stars depart from Marsa Alam Marina. Fly to Marsa Alam airport (RMF) — approximately 45 minutes from the marina — or Hurghada airport (HRG) with a longer transfer of approximately 3–5 hours. The North Stars itinerary departs from and returns to Hurghada. Transfer from both airports is included for Saturday arrivals between 12:00 and 18:00. Transfer conditions →
Arrive at Marsa Alam or Hurghada airport between 12:00 and 18:00 on Saturday. We pick you up from the airport and transfer directly to the boat. Check-in aboard is at 18:00. The latest possible check-in is Sunday 05:00 for guests with very early Sunday arrivals — contact us in advance to arrange.
Yes. Hotel pickup in Hurghada and Marsa Alam city (inside cities only) is available on Saturdays between 12:00 and 16:00 at no extra cost. Contact us before your arrival to confirm your hotel pickup point.
Yes. Full scuba equipment rental is available aboard both MY JP Marine and MY Queen Sherry — BCD, regulators, wetsuit, mask, fins, boots, SMB and dive computer. Book in advance to guarantee availability for your week. Equipment rental list →
Yes. Dive insurance is mandatory for all guests aboard. DAN Europe and Dive Assure are both accepted. Bring a printed or digital copy of your policy on departure day. Insurance information →
Yes. Nitrox is available aboard on all itineraries. A 12L nitrox tank costs €70 per week. A 15L air tank is €35. A 15L nitrox tank is €125. Nitrox specialty courses are available aboard if you are not yet certified.
Yes. Around 30% of our guests each week travel solo. We pair solo divers with a buddy or guide and single cabin booking is available on request. Contact us when booking to discuss solo cabin options.
