1. Acceptance of Terms of Use: By using Divesafarimaster.com and booking a scuba trip through the site, via email or other means of communication, you fully and unconditionally accept these Terms of Use. You confirm that you have read, understood and accept the terms and conditions set out herein.
2. Definitions of words we use:
“Boat/Operator”: Divesafarimaster. acts as a cruising yacht operator.
“Price”: The amount quoted to the client on the Site when making a booking or through direct email or other means of communication.
“Cancellation Fee”: The amount charged to the Client if the Client cancels the booking.
“Confirmation”: The invoice sent to the client and to confirm the booking.
“Force Majeure Event”: An event beyond the control of the Operator or Boat, such as weather conditions, natural disasters, political unrest, criminal attacks, military actions, coups d’état, closure of ports for inspections by any government agencies or the army, army boat and island controls, epidemics, and events that are unthinkable and whose probability of occurrence is remote, such as the arrival of aliens, but which can still occur and disrupt air traffic and navigation.
An accident during the trip involving one of the passengers or crew members requiring emergency medical attention and resulting in the immediate return of the vessel to port.
An accident occurring immediately prior to the voyage involving a key crew member, resulting in the inability to commence navigation, the need to replace the key crew member in the boat’s permit to sail, and, as a result, a delay in the vessel’s departure.
“Guest/Client”: persons embarking on a trip offered by the operator, including the person making the booking.
“Operator”: a dive boat offering dive cruises.
“Product”: a dive or adventure cruise, including cabin space and all features stated by the operator as included in the price.
“Booking”: agreements between clients and operators.
“Website”: the website www.divesafarimaster.com, including all its pages.
1. Reservations
Reservations are made online through the website of DiveSafariMaster.com and are subject to the availability of the requested product of the operator.
In some cases extra information (e.g., passport copies, evidence of guest insurance, health certificates, flight details, etc.) is needed by DiveSafariMaster.com to make a reservation complete. We hold the right to cancel the reservation according to the applicable booking policy for the particular booking in case this information is not supplied by the guest.
2. Responsibility of the Guest
The customers are themselves responsible for transportation to and from the mooring location of the liveaboard or cruise boat. DiveSafariMaster.com may offer some suggestions for airlines, hotels, and transfer options, but holds no affiliation with these companies and thus cannot be held accountable for their services.
Customers are responsible to meet the health and disability requirements defined by the operator and ensure they are in good shape by conducting a health checkup by a healthcare professional if they book a diving trip. Customers must notify us in writing at the time of booking of any physical or mental illness, disability, or other conditions for which special accommodations or the use of a wheelchair are necessary or contemplated.
Participation in diving activities requires certification by organizations such as PADI, CMAS, SSI, NAUI etc to ensure necessary safety and enjoyment skills during a diving trip. Customers are responsible for meeting the minimum required logged dives standard of each diving trip and obtaining relevant training.
Customers must have insurance covering adventure travel and sports to protect against dive accidents or other adventure-related risks.
Customers agree to respect the operator’s rules. If the rules of the boat are broken, the operator (or captain) has the right to deny entry on board or participation in diving activities.
Customers must meet the passport, visa, and health requirements to enter the country or countries where the trip is organized.
Guests are advised to review travel prohibitions, warnings, announcements, and advisories issued by their governments before departure.
Guests should inquire about vaccinations and prevention of tropical ailments with a doctor and follow their advice. DiveSafariMaster.com cannot provide medical advice.
If a delay in transit results in missing the liveaboard or cruise boat departure, customers will be responsible for costs involved in catching up with the boat (if possible locally) or arranging alternative accommodations.
3. Passport Requirements
Guests must send a copy of their passport to the operator no later than two weeks before the trip begins. Failure to provide the passport copy on time may result in the cancellation of the booking with a 100% cancellation fee due to the impossibility of adding the guest to the navigation sea permit.
Guests must arrive aboard with their original passport (or ID card for Belgian citizens), along with all dive certifications and printed insurance documents covering underwater activities. If a guest cannot present their original passport or valid ID card, the boat reserves the right to deny participation in the scuba trip, with no refund provided. This measure complies with Red Sea Coast Guard pre-departure requirements.
4. Insurance Requirements
Underwater Activity Insurance: Insurance covering underwater activities, including scuba diving (hyperbaric chamber treatment), is mandatory. A printed copy must be available and accessible during the trip, as it will be checked on the first day and may be needed in emergencies.
Travel Insurance: Guests are strongly advised to purchase travel insurance covering “force majeure” situations. The boat does not provide refunds for cases such as:
Departure delays or cancellations due to weather conditions or marina closures, authorities decisions, stopping a boat in port or during a cruise by the Coast Guard, military or other government agencies for inspection and control.
Trip cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., wars, pandemics, governmental restrictions, or natural disasters and any other “force majeure event”).
An accident during the trip involving one of the passengers or crew members requiring emergency medical attention and resulting in the immediate return of the vessel to port.
An accident occurring immediately prior to the voyage involving a key crew member, resulting in the inability to commence navigation, the need to replace the key crew member in the boat’s permit to sail, and, as a result, a delay in the vessel’s departure.
The boat does not take responsibility for or provide refunds in cases of guest no-show, missed dives due to personal reasons or medical conditions, flight delays, cancellations, and all cases mentioned as force majeure event.
5. Scuba Experience and Certifications
All dives must adhere to the depth limits specified on each guest’s scuba certification.
Diving must be conducted in buddy teams, as required by CDWS (Chamber of Diving and Watersports) Red Sea regulations.
Open Water (OW) divers must have a buddy to stay within the 20m depth limit. If no buddy available, Open Water diver agrees to skip deeper dives or hire a private guide 350 euros per week.
6. Red Sea Ecology Rules
The following are strictly prohibited aboard:
Gloves, knives, and sticks during dives.
Fishing activities.
Guests are encouraged to use reef-safe sunscreen and bring reusable personal cups or thermoses to minimize environmental impact.
7. Rent Equipment
For rental orders, guests must provide accurate sizes (weight, height, and clothing size) no later than seven days before the trip starts. Failure to provide this information on time may result in the boat refusing to provide rental equipment due to limited stock.
8. Payments
Bookings are only valid upon receipt of full payment.
Payments can be made online by credit card or manually via bank transfer.
DiveSafariMaster.com reserves the right to charge costs incurred for incorrect payments (e.g., credit card chargebacks).
Full payment is due on the reservation date. A deposit option may be available upon request, subject to additional fees.
All rates are charged in Euro or USD. Other currency quotations are for reference only.
9. Cancellation & Amendments
No-shows are treated as cancellations with no refund.
Amendments or cancellations with refunds incur a 3% administration fee. Cancellation fees apply as follows:
More than 31 days before the trip: 20% retained.
Within 31 days: 100% retained.
10. Liability
Client agrees never to hold DiveSafariMaster.com liable for any unforeseen circumstances, all types of force majeure situations and all other circumstances listed below.
DiveSafariMaster.com cannot be held responsible for delays caused by flights and/or transfer companies.
DiveSafariMaster.com is not responsible for aligning the expectations of divers with their actual experience, including but not limited to the overall diving cruise, the boats, diving conditions, underwater visibility, catering, leisure activities, or any other aspects of the trip – except when such expectations are explicitly formulated in writing and confirmed by the operator in writing. DiveSafariMaster.com cannot be held accountable for erroneous information published on partner websites.
Neither DiveSafariMaster.com, the operator, the boat, nor its agents will be responsible for any losses incurred by guests (including missed flights) due to insufficient time allocated for transfers from the marina to the airport, including transfers delays caused by additional checkpoints, road closures, or other unforeseen circumstances.
DiveSafariMaster.com and the operator cannot be held responsible or liable for any personal injury, property damage, or wrongful death occurring during activities due to the inherent risks associated with scuba diving or other activities offered by the operator, or as a result of acts or omissions by third parties.
DiveSafariMaster.com and/or the operator are not responsible for any personal belongings or diving equipment left behind by guests, whether on the boat, transfer bus, at bus stops, the port, or elsewhere. Neither party will arrange for the search, storage, or return of any forgotten personal effects. Furthermore, DiveSafariMaster.com and/or the operator cannot be held responsible for the loss or damage of personal effects or diving equipment during preparations, dives, or upon return from the dive- whether on the dive deck, in the zodiac, or on the dive support boat.
DiveSafariMaster.com is not responsible for changes in the ship used by the operator, cabin allocations, or other modifications. We reserve the right to make changes to bookings when deemed necessary, including adjustments to the itinerary, ship, or cabin assignments. As long as the alternatives offered are of similar value to the original booking, they are considered valid, and DiveSafariMaster.com will not be liable for disputes arising from such changes.
DiveSafariMaster.com and/or the operator are not responsible for delays, modifications, or cancellations when the cruise cannot be executed partially or fully due to natural disasters, political unrest, military or civil conflict, terrorist activities, islands army closure, marina closure, army islands or boats control and other “force majeure” situations, or any other unforeseeable circumstances beyond the operator’s control.
11. Complaints & Disputes
The complaint must be made in writing and submitted as soon as the problem occurs on board, regardless of its nature. If the guest continues to accept the service without expressing his dissatisfaction in writing during the cruise, all requests made after the end of the cruise and return to land will be considered inadmissible.
The relationship between the guest and the operator is governed by the law of the country where the cruise took place (Arab Republic of Egypt).
